Here we go again, it’s Christmas time! Egoitaliano’s Christmas is funny and colorful and the snarky seasonal project of the company proves it.
Every year, on December 25, for centuries, history has been repeating itself. It’s time for panettone (a traditional, Italian Christmas dessert), family dinners, annoying questions from aunts, bingo and the not so pleasant Christmas caroling.
Egoitaliano’s Christmas is like any other Christmas: full of traditions and folklore, only with a sparkle of irony and color, two of the main features of the company’s soul. This project is an invite to live this celebration in an unconventional way.
With this project, Egoitaliano gives an unexpected twist to the classic Christmas decoration, the Christmas balls, by making them drivers of hilarious and colorful messages.
They can be the perfect gift for a friend, a funny decoration for your place, or a present to yourself: Egoitaliano’s Christmas Balls reflect the young and eclectic personality of the brand.
How the “Chepalle!” project was born
The starting idea for this project was inspired by the exuberant soul of the brand and comes from the need of downplaying the well-known cliché of the traditional Christmas dinner in an ironic way.
The name of the operation is, in fact, an Italian wordplay that can be interpreted as the informal interjection used for communicating boredom (“che palle!” translated as “that sucks”), as well as a surprise exclamation for the coolness of the decorations.
This Christmas balls are unique pieces of design, hand-crafted and totally made in Italy. They are produced in Veneto with the famous glass blowing technique. The decorations are completely non-toxic and lead-less.
